Caramelized Chicken

Caramelized Chicken




Most of the people will tell you the caramelized chicken is a Chinese recipe. They are wrong because in fact it's a Vietnamese recipe. Anyway it's a really simple and delicious recipe.

Ingredients:

1 pound chicken breast
3 tablespoons white vinegar
5 tablespoons soya sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

Cut the chicken into cubes.
In a bowl combine, the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and olive oil. Add the chicken and let it marinate for 1 hour.
After the meat has marinated, remove from the bowl and drain (set the marinade aside)
In a skillet heat some olive oil over medium high heat. Add the chicken and sauté for about 3 minutes until golden.
Add the sesame seeds and the marinade and cook until caramelized stirring occasionally.
Serve with rice.
